Encoding
Your video needs to be encoded to stream it effectively from a server. This means we take the raw video file and squeeze it down to a size that will transfer smoothly from where it is stored to individual PCs.
By squeezing it to reduce the file size some quality will inevitably be lost but our video technicians are expert at balancing file size and quality to ensure the video your customers see is the best online version.
Uploading
Once we’ve encoded your video it has to be uploaded from our computers to the server. This is a process that happens in real time as the file data transfers across the web to its final storage. We have all the processes in place to keep this transfer of data to a minimum cost.
Hosting
We offer Flash progressive download and Windows Media streaming server options. Remember that video files are large chunks of data and transfer of this data is a distribution cost.
From the information you give us about predicted hits on the video we will work out a package for storing and transferring your video per month.
Analytics
We offer quarterly analytics for your Flash video, which will give you a realistic appraisal of how many hits your video is getting and where the traffic is coming from.
Web Liaison
Working with your web team is an important part of successfully realising your video project. We understand that web teams have concerns about outside contractors, but we have a proven track record of liaising with web programmers and helping them add the video to your website.
Web Work
If you don’t have a web team and need help adding the video either as an embedded flash player or as a click on button to open into a standalone Windows Media Player then we can code this for you providing you allow us access to your website.
DVDs & Point of Sale
We always provide at least one hard media copy of your video on DVD with full-face artwork and the case of your choice. We can replicate any number of copies to industry standard at very competitive prices.
Should you want to use your video as a DVD promotion, we will produce and deliver copies to you.
