We have begun marketing the ape conservation event that we are organising with our chosen charity, Ape Action Africa.
The charity’s principle, Rachel Hogan, is making a rare visit to London in November to speak at the Royal Geographical Society on her work rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned chimps and gorillas in Cameroon, West Africa.
This week, we also confirmed that Rachel will be joined by a celebrity guest at the event, who will also be speaking.
The event, ‘Bushmeat, bullets and bananas’ is being shared on Facebook, Twitter and through the charity’s own website and email distribution list.
The details of the event are as follows:
Bushmeat, bullets and bananas
Date: 6:30pm on Thursday 4th November 2010
Venue: Royal Geographical Society in London (Kensington Gore Entrance)
Tickets: £30, available from the website
All profits from the event go directly to Ape Action Africa. You can read more about the work we do with Ape Action Africa on our website.
