BP has been using social media to engage people in its efforts to cap the leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico and collect oil on the surface of the sea.
BP is a YouTube sponsor and partner, hence the channel looks different from the norm. Global interest in the clean-up effort has been such that BP has been consistently ranking highly amongst the ‘Most Subscribed’ and ‘Most Viewed’ YouTube channels.
