Frankenstein’s Burger

For a video producer that specialises in food filming GM crops are one thing, but lab-grown meat fills me with horror.

Perhaps I should be more open-minded and embrace a technology that could save the environment and feed the growing human population in one fell swoop.

Last year a company called Mosa Meats produced the world’s most expensive hamburger, a stem-cell grown-meat that cost over $300,000.

The thought of it makes me shudder.

Now this; a lab grown meatball.

Please!

I know, I’ll be laughing on the other side of my face as I dodder into my dotage and am fed lab-grown meat through a tube.

Maybe the solution is to give up eating meat altogether and avoid the horrors both agricultural and technological that are associated with this food stuff!
