We’re incredibly proud to be able to announce an event for Ape Action Africa in London on 4th November 2010.
Ape Action Africa is our chosen charity and we’re working pro bono with the teams in Bristol and Cameroon to raise awareness of the bushmeat and primate pet trades that have exploded recently, in part due to the expansion of logging in West Africa.
Following an extremely successful talk by the project’s Rachel Hogan at Bristol Zoo last year, we’re organising another visit for her to the UK to speak in London in the autumn. The full details are here:
Royal Geographical Society
6.30pm on 4th November 2010
We’re also expecting a special guest to introduce Rachel – more details to follow. Tickets will be available on the Ape Action Africa website in due course. All profits will go directly to the charity.
