Production Quality Rises for Online Video

We’ve noticed a definite rise in the demand for better quality online video whether it’s multiple product videos or one-off promotional films.

A couple of years ago price was the key sales determinant, but now it seems the balance is swinging in favour of higher production quality with a willingness to increase budgets accordingly.

Don’t get me wrong; the market is still highly price sensitive, but there’s a determination on the part of brand managers to squeeze not only the best value from a shoot but also insist on TV-like style and creativity.

I hope this trend goes the whole hog, with a corresponding rise in what the market will pay, as brands realise that far from being the poor relation online video is now attracting greater 24/7 audiences than broadcast.
