In this TED lecture, blogger and technologist Ethan Zuckerman talks about using Twitter to open up your content to a truly globally audience. He’s found that just like in real life, our online friends and followers tend to be similar to us (He calls these ‘filter bubbles’). We get the feeling that we’re in a global Internet community, although we rarely see content produced by other cultures in other countries.
Zuckerman is a member of the Global Voices collection of bloggers, who encourage the sharing of global news.
